Ambal Balakrishnan, is a Co-founder of ClickDocuments. Ambal is a technologist turned marketer. She spent about a decade in the corporate world in various roles–engineering, program management, business development, and strategy and marketing for premium and fast-growing product divisions at Fortune 500 companies.
Ambal’s hiking pursuits have taken her to several mountains including Mt. Whitney(which she managed to climb in 1 day!).
Ambal received her Masters in Computer Science from Purdue University and an MBA in Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. She lives with her family in Silicon Valley, California.

Chaitra Vedullapalli is the Senior Director of WW Sales and Marketing Communications, where she oversees the information workplace for Microsoft Sales Force.
Past work includes shaping the Microsoft Customer and Partner Self Service Experience which touched over 10M Customers & 1M Partners. She was also an integral part of creating the Service Culture at Microsoft and an architect of the Microsoft-IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners) innovation program.
Chaitra has also served as a Director of Licensing and PartnerNetwork at Oracle where her projects drove licensing simplification and enabled state of the art innovations in Partner Self Service Experience. Chaitra holds a Patent in WebMethods and Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from RVCE, Bangalore, and is currently active in community efforts to help women and children in need.
Chaitra has presented in many events such as ”The Future of Marketing -Personalization Revolution” ; “Localization World” and IPQC- Channel Partnering. She has also published “PARTNER Tweet” – 140 Bite-Sized Ideas for Succeeding in Your Partnerships which is now available on Amazon.
Chris Kevorkian joined MPA as Executive Vice President/Digital in 2010. In this capacity he focuses on initiatives that advance publishers’ cross-platform interests with allied industries and associations. Additional efforts endeavor to define early guidelines and, ultimately, digital best practices.
Prior to joining MPA, Mr. Kevorkian was Senior Vice President, Business Development at Business.com/Work.com, where he built powerful new network distribution partnerships focused on optimizing performance and end user experience.
Mr. Kevorkian moved into the digital world when he joined a Matrix Partners-backed startup, DirectoryM.com, as Senior Vice President of BizDev & Sales. There, he built a distribution network in the U.S. and UK, delivering local advertising directories and content to the online end users of business publications. Chris was also Publisher afSunset, successfully re-launched the Sunset brand and drove it record profitability. Prior to his move to Sunset, Mr. Kevorkian was with Hearst Magazines where he ultimately became Ad Director of Good Housekeeping. He began his career in media & account management at Y&R and BBDO in SF, Ca and New York.He led the Digital Initiatives for American Business Media as Chair of their Digital Media Council 2008-2010.
Dave Gardner has spent his career improving business execution and collaboration within the enterprise and beyond the enterprise into the sales/dealer channels. He has held management and senior management positions in Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Management. A management consultant since 1991, he has broad expertise and experience leading enterprise-wide change initiatives.
He is a graduate of San Jose State University (BA) and Santa Clara University (MBA). Dave is also a member of the Society for the Advancement of Consulting (SAC); he is Board Approved by SAC in “Configurable Products and Services Strategy & Implementation.” In 2010, he was inducted in the Million Dollar Consultant® Hall of Fame. Out of over 1,300 consultants who have gone through Alan Weiss’s mentoring program, 30 have been inducted in the Hall of Fame. Dave is a Fast Company Expert Blogger in the area of Business Execution and a member of Dell’s Customer Advisory Panel.
David Motto is a musician, writer, and speaker. He is an expert on practicing music and speaks on this topic throughout the U.S. He has taught private music lessons for 25 years and was a member of the music faculty at San Francisco State University for 12 years. David is coauthor of the best-selling Musician’s Practice Planner, author of three instructional books for the bass guitar, and author of the forthcoming book The 10 Minute Virtuoso: 101 Secrets to Learn Any Musical Instrument in 10 Minutes a Day. He has played bass on over twenty commercially released recordings and is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which gives him the privilege of voting for the Grammy Awards. Liz Alexander is something of a hybrid. She was born in St. Andrews, Scotland, raised in England from the age of 2, and moved to the United States in 2001 where she became a citizen in 2009. Her passion is any form of communication and she’s been helping spread ideas in book form since 1988. A writer since she was old enough to pick up a pencil, she’s had nine nonfiction books published internationally (by Random House, HarperCollins, Little,Brown among others), as well as several that she’s self-published. Believing no book really counts until it reaches its readers, Liz has sold close to 500,000 copies of her own books globally. A life-long learner, she went back to graduate school and earned her Ph.D. In educational psychology in 2009. Mark Faust is a growth and turnaround consultant, syndicated writer, professional speaker, and executive coach to owners and CEOs.

Pam Fox Rollin is executive coach and consultant to executives and leadership teams in Silicon Valley and beyond. Raj Raheja provides a leading voice for the future of 3D Virtual Training and Serious Gaming. He believes in sandwiching great technologies together and therefore, leans more towards Innovation than pure Invention. In 2002, Raj co-founded Heartwood with Neil Wadhawan. Samuel Eddy started his career in A,V,Thomas and Co specializing in Tea and then onto Cardamom growing and Processing. He went onto growing and processing Jasmine Concretes for the perfume Industry in France. He then set up the Retailing business for retailing spices for the Middle East market . Worked for Mac Industries Ltd setting up a modern Pappad processing plant for the UK Market. He pioneered the export of organic fruits for the German market. .
In 1995 he set up Chennai’s first event management Company and came up with the concept of Corporate Recreation services for the IT industry. He also set up India’s first Petting Zoo .In 2008 he set up a Finishing School for Engineering graduates helping over 1500 students get placement in IT companies. He then was Marine Coordinator for a shipping company handling the quantity and quality analysis of all crude oil coming into the country, Eddy is also the Chief Coordinator for TEDxChennai .
In 2011 he was the Curator and Sole licensee for BIL conferences in India and organaised the first ever BIL Conference in Chennai.He is now involved in bringing in several TED like concepts like Chic Meets Geek ,Do lectures etc to India. He is also the Founder of F4( Face to Face Facebook Friends) an unique meetup which has no agenda nor timing, which is rapidly spreading all over the country and the world.
In May 2011 Samuel relocated to the United States to help his wife Shanti in mission work.
Shankar is an entrepreneur-coach who helps founder-led Small to Medium Enterprises unlock their potential for creating and realizing value. First time entrepreneurs have limited financial and finite -albeit larger- nervous runway to persist long enough to succeed. His strategy to execution firm Business Capital LLC, helps entrepreneurs and executives correctly recognize problems and opportunities, arrive at better decision making and conceive and execute higher outcome producing plans.
His first company, Esseven Infotech was a pioneering product development outsourcer, providing the entire range of services from product management to architecture to engineering necessary for ‘version one’ software product development. His next endeavor was in the enterprise software space, with Epiance a leading elearning and business process improvement company. Its software training and documentation automation innovation of “simulation” became an industry standard. Later he participated in a number of search, social and mobile based ecommerce and internet start-ups, variously as an investor or as interim-CEO, to nurture them from conception to market.
In his earlier career in strategy and IT consulting, he worked with Deloitte Consulting on marketing and business development strategies for leading Indian corporates across different consumer and engineering industries. He managed regional operations for a fast growing IT services company called NIIT and then led corporate strategy and development for Wipro.
Dr. Ashar, Led the initiative for NACD to establish the NACD Three Rivers Chapter, serving the needs of the boards and providing cutting edge education programs for directors, and was elected as its founding President and CEO. She attained a Certificate of Director Education from NACD and is involved with its education initiative, which researches and revamps the curriculum needs for director education to keep up with the current rapidly changing environment in Corporate Governance. Within the larger community, Dr. Ashar has participated and engaged in programs associated with NACD, The Governance Institute and Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She served on the Advisory Council of Strong Women and Strong Girls’ citywide initiative and as a Marketing Director for the Women’s Small Business Association in Pittsburgh.
She has developed the syllabus and curriculum for Corporate Governance at Carnegie Mellon’s H. John Heinz lll School of Public Policy and Management Institute & Institute for Social Innovation and has led an award-winning project at the Heinz School’s Institute for Social Innovation while managing research projects in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at Carnegie Mellon University. Rand Center for Corporate Ethics and Governance invited Dr. Ashar to participate in the think tank session, “Directors as Guardians of Compliance and Ethics Within the Corporate Citadel.” Dr. Ashar serves as a trustee of Excela Health System – a complex health care system with multiple for-profit sub-entities – and served as Chair of the CEO Search Committee and the ad-hoc Compensation Committee. She currently serves as the Vice Chair for Nominating and Governance Committee and is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for the health care System.
